15 simple things we want to do again in Vernazza after 2011 flood

And Here it is…Vernazza! Finally we can see the stones of Via Roma again, now that’s been cleaned up from mud and debris! Great Job from all Firemen, Army and Volunteers Troops and, above all, the administration of Mayor Resasco!

Soon it’ll be shining again as in the past and even better…

So now we want to do 15 simple, ordinary things again in this extraordinary place in the world

1. We want to go back to Piazza Marconi, sit down at a cafeteria and have a smiley Cappuccino and a sunny Cornetto…

2. We want to see the Village slowly appear in the distance, amidst the vineyards, on coming from the upper trails…

3. We want to see Vernazza again as a marvelous flower among other beautiful flowers, as the most shining pearl among other bright pearls…

4. We want to see its lively main square smile again with all its colours and shapes…

5. We want to count  the ardesia tile roofs from one of the village sunny terraces…

6. We want to celebrate again with all our dear ones from the terrace of Al Castello Restaurant...
7. We want to dive again  into Vernazza blue waters  from the rocks under the Doria tower

8. We want to see our beloved village from a new point of view…

9. We want to eat Gelato again at the ice cream parlor …10. We want to rent a traditional Gozzo Boat and see Vernazza beauty from the distance…

11. We want to have an aperitif drink at dear Blue Marlin Café on the main street…

12. We want to buy a souvenir dish to bring home Vernazza colours and their warmth…

13. We want to throw an eye into a real, old, embracing Vernazza house…

14. We want to read a book quietly amidst the passing by tourists…

15. We want to stay on the track lane of the railway, at the end of the day, and feel happy for what our eyes have seen through our camera lenses… just unique!

We want to GO BACK TO VERNAZZA!

And we want that Vernazza gets back to its own dear, vibrant, ancient, chatting, colourful, mistic, meditative, drowsy, bright life…
